Membership
consists of Active, Associate, Honorary, Junior, and Affiliate members. |
Annual Dues

Active
members have all the privileges and obligations of membership in the
Society. Active status is available to licensed physicians who actively
practice or live in the State of Iowa or bordering states, or previous
residents, fellows and staff of the University of Iowa Department of
Dermatology, who have completed residency training in dermatology in
programs approved by the American Board of Dermatology, American
Osteopathic Board of Dermatology, or the Royal College of Physicians and
Surgeons of Canada. |

Associate,
Junior, Honorary and Affiliate members are invited to attend meetings,
but exercise no
vote and hold no offices in the Society. |

|
Associate membership is available to licensed physicians, certified
OR eligible for certification by the American Board of Dermatology,
actively practicing outside the State of Iowa. Associate membership is
available to dermatologists who have completed medical school or an
internship or residency program at the University of Iowa or
dermatologists interested in this Society whose abilities and
reputations make their membership a benefit and an honor to the Society. |

Honorary membership consists of former Active members of the Society
who are retired, as well as other individuals who have provided special
service to the Society or have made outstanding contributions to the
knowledge and treatment of skin disease. |

Junior
membership is offered to licensed physicians in residency programs
within the State of Iowa or fellows in dermatology programs within the
State of Iowa whose directors are Active members of the society. |

Affiliate members are non-dermatologist physicians and scientists in
allied fields, whose work contributes to the knowledge and treatment of
skin disease. |
